Our "Specials" page is now live!
December 12, 2008

We are excited to announce the latest addition to our webpage:

Our "Specials" page showcases available instruments, for sale at reduced prices.

These instruments include demo instruments, prototypes, and other guitars that play and sound great, but don't qualify as 'brand-new'.

Occasionally, this page will also include some unfinished instruments, that can be finished in your choice of color and set up to your spec.

This is a great way to get a killer deal on a handmade Veillette! These instruments are all 100% functional, and we stand behind them just like all of our new instruments.

We're really excited to be offering these guitars, so we can get them out into the world making music where they belong.

Check out the "Specials" link on the left to see the first round of special offers.

The Jazz 14 Semi-Hollow has arrived!
December 5, 2008

The new models just keep coming! Our latest: the Jazz 14

The name refers to the wider body (14" at the lower bout), making it more familiar feeling to the archtop guitarist.

The body is also very extensively chambered, allowing for dual soundholes and some real weight reduction. The tone coming from this body construction is very clear and articulate, with great note separation and an airy, open high-end.

As on our prior Jazz model, this also features our adjustable-height wooden bridge and tailpiece system, which also contribute warmth and depth to the tonal picture.

But enough words - here's the guitar!

A new breed of Nylon-string...
November 4, 2008

It's been a long time since our last "What's New", so we'll have a few overdue updates in the next week or two.

First up - our new generation of nylon-string guitars is here!

The most exciting new feature is the height-adjustable wooden bridge, which allows the player to easily fine-tune the action without even loosening the strings.

The chambered body and soundhole further push the acoustic vibe.

Finally, these new nylons now feature the 'radiused' curved top that also graces our Swift, Paris, and Centaur instruments.

All in all - the feel and sound of these instruments has never been better!

The newest - Non-Cutaway Acoustic!
June 10, 2008

We're very pleased to show off these first pictures of our Grand 16" Non-Cutaway model...

Pictured is a Grand 16" Baritone 12-string, with the new full-size, non-cutaway body.

The already huge sound of these guitars gets a little boost from the extra airspace and internal volume of this shape, and the look is a bit closer to traditional...but not too much!

We're thrilled with the sound, feel, and look of this new shape - more of these will be coming soon, including a very custom Standard 6-string...

Some Changes to the Website...
February 13, 2008

The New Year has brought some subtle but very cool changes to our website...

-First off, our different lines of instruments (Acoustic, Electrics/Electric-Acoustics, and Basses) now have individual homepages, for quicker navigation and easier comparison of the different models.

-Secondly, the instrument pages now feature a 'slideshow', which lets the viewer scroll through many different examples of any given model, showing different colors, configurations, and woods!

We're really excited by these new features - the website is now better than ever, and shows more beautiful guitars! What's not to like?

More updates coming soon - including a very, very special acoustic...here's the first peek:
