The amazingly 'acoustic' plugged-in sound of our Journeyman guitars has attracted players from many genres. In response to many requests over the years, we developed an electric Cuban Tres that offers the same rugged construction, electric-like playability, and full, vibrant acoustic sound with no feedback.

Developed in conjunction with New York Tres player Benjamin Lapidus, the Veillette Tres features the traditional 3x2 string configuration and tuning arrangement with a 22.8" scale. The optional magnetic pickup (shown) allows the player to mix in more modern electric flavors along with the rich and totally convincing acoustic tone from the piezo. For loud bands with big horn sections, feedback resistance is essential, and this instrument can deliver a truly acoustic tone with no danger of feeding back.

As with all Veillette guitars, the neck is connected with a single 1/4" neck bolt. The lightweight body is slim and comfortable, and built to withstand travel.
